About Us

Welcome to Mayville School

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school website. We are a school that follows the British Curriculum infused with strong Ghanaian values, making the best of both worlds.

At our school, we aim to provide our children with the best possible education and to develop the whole child by preparing and equipping them for the challenging and fast changing world in which we live.

When a child starts our school, they get the opportunity to be part of what we call, ‘The Mayville Experience.’ This experience includes a curriculum which is broad and balanced and exclusive to Mayville School.

We encourage our pupils and staff to be lifelong learners and to believe that they can achieve anything they put their mind and effort into.

At Mayville, we offer our pupils and staff the opportunity to be creative and innovative in their approach to learning and teaching, using approaches and strategies that value effort, perseverance, co-operation, collaboration, problem solving and leadership skills within an inclusive, happy and stimulating learning environment.

We welcome your interest in our school and extend our sincere welcome to all interested parties.

Our Vision

To be an exemplary educational institution dedicated to creating an inspiring place for children to learn and grow into confident and independent learners, creative and critical thinkers while exploring global perspectives. To realise this, we will instil in them a love for learning, a relentless pursuit of ambitious goals, and respect for core values in-line with the very best of our British educational roots.

Our Mission

Our mission is to foster each child’s well-being as a foundation for academic and life success by drawing on the strengths of the child’s entire community.

All lessons and objectives are delivered in line with those set out in the English National Curriculum.
Some subtle changes are made to the curriculum to tailor the topics we teach according to our international environment. Our aim is to ensure that topics are relevant, and the skills acquired can be applied to any topic they may study in the future.
